How EMBRIS handles email subscriptions, optional feedback and external services.

Email updates & beta interest

Signing up is optional. Your email address is sent to EmailOctopus, the service David Elin uses to manage EMBRIS subscriptions. It is used for the updates or beta information you sign up for.

You can unsubscribe using the link in each email. Signing up does not enable Evidence & Feedback on your EMBRIS device.

Optional Evidence & Feedback

Help improve EMBRIS by sharing technical reports and feedback with the developer. These reports help identify problems and improve game compatibility.

Reports can include the game being prepared or played, software and system information, whether a game starts, session duration and feedback you choose to provide. They do not include your game files or saved games.

Reports use an installation identifier to connect related results. They are not automatically published on the Compatibility page.

Sharing is optional and can be turned off in Settings. Turning it off stops further reporting; it does not automatically delete reports already received. Contact us if you would like to request deletion.

Subscription forms

Opening a subscription form connects your browser to EmailOctopus. The form may also load Google reCAPTCHA and external fonts. These services receive technical information such as your IP address and browser information, even if you do not submit the form.

The form may use cookies to manage its display. Your email address is sent when you submit it.

Read more in the EmailOctopus Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

Video playback

The trailer preview image is hosted on embris.io. The embedded YouTube player loads only when you press play.

Playing the video connects your browser to YouTube through youtube-nocookie.com. Google/YouTube receives technical information such as your IP address and browser information. Its handling of that information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

You can also choose to watch the trailer directly on YouTube.
